STARS Projects
I was fortunate to earn a scholarship that allowed me to spend a summer creating art and designs that were featured in an exhibition the following semester. I wanted to explore the intersection of design and photography through an appreciation for nature and public lands, something I am very passionate about.
Each piece incorporates my own photography, captured over the summer at a range of places, including parks, beaches, and my own backyard. I used the images I took to experiment with different styles and techniques in layout and typography, and to expand my knowledge of Adobe tools.
The work aims to evoke a sense of connection to the environment while highlighting its beauty. The project also reflects the goal of raising awareness about the importance of preserving public lands and the biodiversity that keeps it alive. I wanted to encourage viewers to engage more deeply with nature!

Garden of the Gods
This poster was created for Garden of the Gods in Shawnee National Forest, drawing inspiration from the classic vintage National Park posters of the WPA era. Personally, I enjoyed this era of design and its purpose, so I was very inspired by it to create something that speaks to what I love.
Save the Bees
This poster was created to raise awareness about declining bee populations and their critical role in our ecosystem. It aims to educate viewers on the importance of pollinators while also providing a clear call to action. The website has more supporting information!
